About Us

Our Story

We decided to buy land in Iowa, during the RAGBRAI bicycle ride. We were mesmerized by its beauty. After several years, with our daughter becoming interested in farming, we purchased our farm here in Maryland, falling in love with the beauty of Frederick County.

The farm has been productive for many years, lovingly cared for by generations of families. Currently, James Ewing Jr is the onsite farm manager, and has many years of farming experience. He takes care of the land and the animals. He has an intimate relationship and knowledge of the land and is constantly striving to have well raised animals and healthy land. Currently the farm has a flock of 200 ducks in 10 acres of pasture, a 10 acre vineyard, and 60 acres of crops.

We are proud to be able to offer poultry products to our community and look forward to seeing you on the property for wine tasting in the future!
